Construction of bathrooms and connection to running water for Solomon’s children

This past summer, we were finally able to start building the orphanage for Solomon’s children.

As you may remember, following the demolition of the houses in their community, they are currently all living in two rented rooms, with very little space and in conditions that leave a lot to be desired.

More than ever, we need to make progress with the construction of the orphanage so that the children can move there and begin living in what will be their new home. They will have land where they can grow crops and keep animals, much more space, and the opportunity to start a new life.

So far, we have built what will eventually become the kitchen and storage area of the orphanage. For the time being, they are simply two rooms, so we will use them as two bedrooms: one for the boys and one for the girls.

However, before the children can move there, we need to, at a minimum, build bathrooms and connect the property to running water. For this reason, this second phase of the orphanage construction is our top priority.

Please help us achieve this goal so that the children can move to our new land. Once they are there, we can focus on completing the rest of the orphanage and, in doing so, help many more children who need it.
