This is the 11th edition of a charity-swimming event to be held at Tenerife Top Training (T3), Adeje, Tenerife on Sunday 27.09.26 from 11.30 to 14.30 (registration closes on 18.09 or when reaching 200 registered participants), with the participation of official Swimming referees, although the results will not be official because this event is not in the competition calendar. This event is in no way restricted to competitive swimmers, it will serve both federated swimmers (from 12 years old -or from 9 years old accompanied by parents or coaches- to the most veteran masters), as well as non-swimmers from 12 years old, who will have a chance to have a time given by swimming referees.
For this event, solidarity synergies are generated by the following institutions: Fundación Carrera por la Vida / Walk for Life, Ayuntamiento de Adeje, Tenerife Top Training, Club Deportivo Teneteide, Rotary Club Tenerife Sur and Club Tenerife Masters. The funds raised will go entirely to the different projects of the Fundación Canaria Carrera por la Vida/Walk For Life (https://carreraporlavida.org/en/). All swimmers or attendees are asked to make a minimum donation of 18 euros per person, to collaborate in such a noble cause through migranodearena, stating the name of the donors. Once the donation has been made, register if you want to benefit from the tax deduction in the Spanish Income Tax return (it is almost 100% of the amount donated if the total donated during 2026 does not exceed 250 euros). The password requested is not that of your email account, but a new one that you fix for this registration. It takes no time at all to register and you will not receive informative emails from migranodearena unless you tick to request it.
If you are a donor who will not be attending the event, please indicate "Fila Cero/Row 0" and then the name of your choice. Anyone who would like to participate in the competition, or just attend the non-competitive part, which will include an aquagym session, moments for relaxing swimming and a magnificent paella and refreshments afterwards, should send an e-mail to nadaporlavida@gmail.com with their full name, a copy of the donation made, to find it easier.
Those who are going to compete, please, complete and send the form that you will see in https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/GU2hE4qYPY , with a maximum of 2 events per person, having to send an estimated time to form the heats. Those who are not going to swim, do the same with the much simpler that you will find in https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/H6QnkcFFaA . We will limit the number of swimmers to 200 and a maximum of 250 if we add those who are not going to swim. The first 150 swimmers who register will be entitled to a pink cap commemorating the event, and all those who come and collaborate -even if they don't swim- will participate in the raffle after the event.
Come on, donate and swim (no matter how old you are - if you are at least 12, or 9 if you come with a parent or coach - or how good a swimmer you are), this is not a competition, although times will be published to serve as a reference for participants, it's a party! And if you don't want to or can't compete, join in as a companion or simply participate with the zero row, we will all win by helping the women affected!
La Fundación Carrera por la Vida - Walk for Life creada en Canarias, es una iniciativa solidaria que trabaja para responder a las necesidades y las demandas de las personas y las familias afectadas por el cáncer de mama, y concienciar sobre la importancia de la detección precoz del cáncer de mama.
